2025 / 2026 Season: 15th Sept to 8th June:
We are open when the High School is open. Closed for public high school holidays
Monday nights, 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Beginners and Intermediate Players: start-time 6:00 pm
Advanced Players: start-time 7:30 pm
These are suggested start-times, not enforced. You are free to play to accommodate your schedule.

Program
Etobicoke Badminton Club is a friendly co-ed, 18+ club for beginners, intermediate and advanced players. We do not offer lessons; however, we can suggest coaches in the area. If enough demand exists, we will consider bringing in a coach for those interested.
AGREEMENT OF MEMBERSHIP: CLUB RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
In consideration of my participation in this program, I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damages I may have, or which may hereafter accrue, as a result of our participation in this activity.
This release is intended to discharge in advance the instructors, sponsors, and organizers, of this activity and any involved entity (and their respective agents and employees) including but not limited to the Etobicoke Badminton Club, their volunteers, and directors, from and against any and all liability, which may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the parts of the persons or entities mentioned above.
OTHER IMPORTANT ITEMS
I understand that I may be photographed, videotaped, in a group or individvually and the club has my permission to use the photographs, videotapes, and/or audiotapes for the purpose of promoting the club.
EQUIPMENT
The Club provides the poles, nets and shuttles that are required for badminton.
Members are expected to provide their own racquets, protective eyewear (mandatory*), and shoes with “gum” (non-marking) soles (also mandatory).
We do offer, on loan, some racquets and protective eyewear. These can be signed out at the front desk if you should forget to bring your own.
DRESS CODE
At a minimum, appropriate athletic attire is required. The preference is for at/above-the-knee shorts/skirts and T-shirts or collared shirts.
Members are expected to provide their own racquets, protective eyewear (mandatory*), and shoes with “gum” (non-marking) soles (also mandatory).
Warm-up pants and tops are acceptable during the winter months when the gym is somewhat cold. Jeans and running/walking shoes are NOT acceptable!
CONDUCT
The Club has organized the facility and the coaching for the benefit of its members. In return, we ask for everyone’s cooperation in making the evening enjoyable and instructive for everyone. We ask that those who are not playing be quiet, patient, and well-behaved and wait their turn. We expect good sportsmanship to be enacted at all times. Please turn all mobile devices to silent/vibrate and conduct telephone conversations in the hallway.
The Club reserves the right to ask disruptive members to leave.
I have carefully read this agreement and fully understand its contents as evidenced by my registration and participation in the club. I am aware that this is a release from liability regarding the parties listed above and the assumption of risk by me.
